Sushi sets: gastronomic bouquets from our chef

A sushi set is like a gastronomic bouquet: instead of flowers you get carefully arranged gastronomic masterpieces on one plate. Rather than picking individual items, you choose one sushi set and receive a complete tasting menu. At Mister Sushi, sets are composed by the chef so that each box balances classic flavours, a few bolder pieces and options for different tastes at the table.

What makes a sushi set special

Ordering a sushi set means that someone has already thought about variety for you. One box can contain maki, inside-out rolls, sushi and sometimes baked or tempura pieces. It saves time and usually offers better value than building the same selection roll by roll. For many guests, a set sushi is also a stress-free way to order sushi in Bratislava when they are not sure what exactly to choose.

Sushi set at Mister Sushi

On the English Sets page of Mister Sushi you will find several clearly described options, each with weight, number of pieces and price. For example, the Salmon Set combines Sake maki, salmon sushi and a salmon California roll in a 595 g, 20-piece box. The Banzai Set focuses on warm, more indulgent rolls such as grilled Bansai and different Bonsai tempura combinations and weighs around 1280 g for 32 pieces. The Holiday Set is a large sushi set with 64 pieces (about 2050 g) that includes California with salmon, Master Fila, Philadelphia black with eel, Spicy shrimp, Rainbow, Kani maki, Unagi maki, Tuna maki and salmon sashimi.

There is also a Maki Set for fans of traditional rolls – tuna maki, Sake maki, Avo maki, Kani maki and salmon sushi, 36 pieces in total – and a Vegetarian Set containing Vegas, Avo, Kapa, Wakame and Daikon maki (40 pieces, about 830 g). Guests who want a mix of bestsellers often choose the Classic set, which combines several Philadelphia rolls, Classic California, California with salmon and two Spicy crab gunkan pieces.

Examples of situations where a sushi set works best

  • a quick but complete dinner for two without checking dozens of menu items,

  • a birthday or office party where everyone should find something they like,

  • a first visit to Mister Sushi, when you want to sample our style in one order,

  • an evening with friends, where a large sushi set becomes the centre of the table,

  • a gift idea for someone who loves Japanese food but you don’t know their exact favourites.

How to choose your sushi set

If you want a fish-focused experience, go for the Salmon Set or Holiday Set. For mixed groups, a combination of Classic and Vegetarian Set is often ideal. When you prefer mainly maki, the Maki Set is a simple, well-defined option. And if you like creamier rolls, the Fil Set with Master Fila, Philadelphia with crab, Kunsei maki and Fila Tempura offers 32 pieces and more than a kilogram of food in one box. Each sushi set is delivered with chopsticks, soy sauce, wasabi and ginger, so you can open the box and start enjoying your “gastronomic bouquet” immediately.
